The official Camp Hi-Sierra Leader's Guide is published annually by the Santa Clara County Council, typically updated by the Camp Director for Camp Hi-Sierra that year.
Current Leader's Guide
You will find the 2010 Leader's Guide downloadable as PDF files on the
SCCC website. Also, we have copied it
here for you to conveniently download it.
Advice on using Leader's Guide
We highly advise each unit leader for a troop or Venture crew attending Camp to download and print out a complete copy of the Leader's Guide well in advance of attending Camp. The Leader's Guide provides almost everything you need to know to plan for Camp as well as a great deal of information about Camp programs and policies that will assist you during your stay.
Important notice about health forms
Please Note! The Leader's Guide mentions repeatedly, and we will mention again here: ALL Camp participants MUST have a
current, signed, and complete Class 1 & 2 BSA
Medical form. Participants over 40 and ALL Trekking participants, regardless of age, MUST have a
current, signed, and complete Class 3 BSA Medical form.
Class 3 Medical forms are only valid when they are signed within one year of the final date of your trip. We strongly recommend that Unit Leaders remind all adults and youth to keep their medical forms current and that Unit Leaders keep additional copies of all
forms with them during a trip to summer camp.
Old Leader's Guides
Many people have noted that the newest Leader's Guide is very hard to navigate, with no table of contents and disjointed section divisions. To help, we will keep links to old versions of the Leader's Guide here, but keep in mind that only the newest information is valid or current - use these for reference only until the current Leader's Guide is more usable.
