This is from the 2004 season of Base Camp (now known as the Trekking program), taken (on film!) in the SoFoStan basin. This is a personal favorite of mine, as 2004 was a great year for wildflowers up in that area (late and heavy snowmelt kept things growing late). You're looking more or less North towards the ridge with Herring Creek Road on it, across the South Fork of the Stansilaus River, which would be in the canyon between the flowers and the granite slopes.
