Discounts

Discounts are available for:

  • Units that sign up at Camp the year before, or early during the sign-up season
  • Units that sign up for the week including July 4th
  • The first 2 adults attending with each unit attend FREE!
  • Additional adults attending with their units get a discounted rate.

Camperships

Santa Clara County Council is proud to offer a Campership program to offer partial scholarships based on need covering up to 50% of a Scout's Camp fees. Applying is as simple as filling out a basic form available from the Scout office.

Extra Charges

Extra charges apply for:

  • Trekking program (higher base fee)
  • Some in-Camp programs, such as most shooting activities and many Handicrafts activities (a supply cost that Scouts can pay in-Camp)
  • Units that arrive early (i.e. Saturday night) are assessed an additional per-person fee
  • Guests in Camp: Guests are welcome in Camp at any time during the week; those that stay for meals will be charged a reasonable per-meal fee.

What Should I Budget?

For Scouts coming to Camp, we recommend they bring some money with them for program supply charges and the occasional snack or souvenir at the General Store. Unit leaders are advised to hold Scouts' money for younger & less experienced Scouts, distributing it as needed or as a daily "allowance." For most Scouts, around $40 ($30-50) is plenty to spend the entire week.
