Do you have what it takes to be a Camp Hi-Sierra Commissioner this year?
Every year, Camp Hi-Sierra needs volunteer adults to serve as Camp Commissioners during every week of the summer season.
Commissioner Duties
Commissioners help out at Camp in many ways:
- Campsite inspections - Commissioners conduct daily inspections of each Campsite each morning with the Senior Patrol Leader of each Troop, ensuring that Scouts remain clean and courteous in their stay at Camp.
- Program - Commissioners help out at a variety of times with the Hi-Sierra program, serving as members of the staff for that week.
- Tribe of Hi-Sierra - Commissioners facilitate advancement in the Tribe of Hi-Sierra by collecting advancement records from Troops and distributing Bead Awards.
- Welcoming Committee - Commissioners are one of the first faces visitors to Camp see, and they work hard to be sure that Camp is ready for each Unit!
